Sometimes, game companies send out press kits for their games. They are a way, it seems, for publishers to get writers to notice a product and talk about it in a sea of other news. Competing for space online in the chatter is tough business for these PR folks.
Capcom sent out a press kit for The Disney Aftrernoon Collection, a retro bundle of six classic Capcom games below Disney licenses that hit the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this week.
The games are DuckTales, DuckTales 2, Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2. The press kit? Here it is…
I’d say it worked. Here we are, talking about The Disney Afternoon Collection just like Capcom intended. The games are selling in one bundle for $19.99. They offer time attack, leaderboards and a brand new rewind button that’ll make some situations significantly less frustrating.
Of course, back when I was eating Ring Pops with my slap bracelet on, I didn’t need no stinkin’ rewind button!
