Spotify is officially launching an app for the Apple Watch. The move comes a couple weeks after the app was teased.
Through the app, users have the ability to play music via any Spotify Connect device, with the ability to control their Spotify account. Complications for specific watch faces will also be available.
At at its current state, not every feature is available. The Spotify app for the Apple Watch doesn’t support offline playback and you can’t stream via LTE on watch models that support it. That’s a shame because the features are already available for the Apple Music app and other third-party apps.
Spotify did not reveal if the features are currently in the works.
Users hoping to get their hands on the Spotify app should see it become available through the App Store over the next week.
