It looks like Tearaway, the newest effort from Media Molecule, will be the next game to make me break out, dust off and charge up my PS Vita. This thing is looking wondrous.
Thanks to the Eurogamer Expo that’s going on now, a few folks from Media Molecule took to a stage and gave up a superbly lengthy gameplay demo and answered audience questions. The gameplay starts at around four minutes in the video at the head of this post, and it runs nearly 30 minutes from there.
Tearaway will make use of all of the PS Vitas inputs to create a world that tilts back and forth between reality and virtual paper. If the experience plays and feels as good as it looks, this might be one of the best efforts to date on Sony’s handheld.
Tearaway will release on Nov. 22, 2013. We’ll be all over it once it drops. Until then, flip through a gallery of images below.
