Penguin Settles eBook Price Fixing Allegations with $75M Fine, Apple Trial Starts June 3

Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen issued a release on Wednesday stating that Penguin Group has reached a settlement in which it was accused of fixing the prices of eBooks. The book publisher will pay $75 million in consumer restitution and as injunctive relief, Jepsen said.
