Tag Heuer has been teasing its high-end Android Wear device since all the way back in March. Now it looks like the Swiss watchmaker is almost ready to launch the new gadget, though the price will put it out of reach for most smartwatch fans.

Speaking to CNBC, Tag Heuer CEO Jean-Claude Biver said the device will cost $1,800. To be fair, we were already expecting the company to offer a pretty expensive device, but previous reports put the price at $1,400. That’s almost a bargain by comparison.

“We were a little bit concerned about the price, because we’re going to sell it at $1,800,” he said. “Now we are quite reassured because Apple is telling us we can sell at $1,500 or even more. I’m very, very pleased.”

Biver also revealed that we’ll finally see the device unveiled on November 9 in New York. We still don’t know what to expect from the design, but high-end materials and a classic style seem likely considering how much it’s set to cost.
