HTC has been speedily rolling out Lollipop updates for both of its One-series handsets all around the world over the past week, and it has now confirmed that One M8 handsets on T-Mobile are next in line for the release.

HTC Product Manager Mo Versi announced the update on Twitter after confirming that the Taiwanese company had received the necessary approval from T-Mobile. The big rollout will begin tomorrow, February 9.

The news comes just days after One M8 handsets on Sprint received their Lollipop upgrades, and proves that while HTC may be missing its 90-day update timeline for some devices, it is working very hard to get Lollipop out as quickly as possible.

In addition to Lollipop features like lock screen notifications, improved multitasking, Smart Lock, and multi-user support, the One M8's upgrade brings some nice Sense 6 improvements. Users can also expect significantly better performance and battery life.

As always, this software will be delivered over-the-air, so look out for an update notification sometime tomorrow. If you don't get one right away, don't worry; big releases like this one can sometimes take a few days to reach all users.
