Jelly Bean is rolling out for T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II, but unfortunately it's not the very latest iteration. That will be of little mind, however. The version rolling out is Android 4.1, which still touts Google Now and the smoothness of Project Butter. To get the update, simply connect to Kies and the 756MB file will be there waiting for you. It's odd the update itself isn't going out OTA, but that may have to do with the heftiness of the file itself.

At this point, though, the new software may just simply tide users over until either the HTC One or Galaxy S4 hits T-Mobile soon—the HTC One slated to launch next week on April 19. With the update, however, T-Mobile and Samsung are bringing the most exciting version of Android to one of the most successful smartphones to date.
