T-Mobile's Nokia Lumia 521 Windows Phone 8 device is now available online and in T-Mobile stores for $29.99 down. The phone can be purchased with T-Mobile's new Simple Choice plans, in which you'll pay 24 monthly installments of $5, or a total of $150 before you own the device outright.

The Lumia 521 is extremely entry level, but does offer a few compelling features considering its low price. It's equipped with a 1GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 8GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and a 4-inch display with an 800 x 480-pixel resolution. It won't run on T-Mobile's new LTE network, however, and is stuck on the slower HSPA network.

Those specs aren't amazing, but when you consider you're also getting Nokia's free HERE maps, turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation and more, the $150 price starts to sound pretty appealing.

The Lumia 521 is also available from Walmart and in Microsoft retail stores.
