T-Mobile just announced that it will soon carry the Windows Phone 8-powered Nokia Lumia 521. The Lumia 521 was announced as a T-Mobile exclusive during Mobile World Congress, but we weren’t provided a time frame for the launch. T-Mobile is still being coy on that front, however, and only said that it will be available in May from Walmart, Microsoft Retail Stores and T-Mobile locations.

The Lumia 521 will run on T-Mobile’s “4G” network and since LTE wasn’t specifically named we’re assuming it will only support HSPA+. The device packs a 4-inch screen and a 5-megapixel camera, although that’s all that has been shared at this point. The carrier has not yet named a price.
