T-Mobile announced that Nokia’s Lumia 925 handset will be available on its cellular network starting July 17. The 4.5-inch Windows Phone 8 handset will cost $49.99 down and will require 24 monthly payments of $20 for qualified customers.

The Nokia Lumia 925’s design is a departure from the Finish company’s noted preference for plastic handsets in bright colors. The handset features a sleek metal frame with polycarbonate back and comes equipped with a 4.5-inch 1,280 x 768-pixel display.

Under the hood, the Lumia 925 packs in a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 2,000mAh battery, LTE support, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a PureView 8.7-megapixel Carl Zeiss rear camera with dual-LED flash, autofocus, and optical image stabilization. On T-Mobile, it also offers Wi-Fi calling support, LTE and HD Voice calling.
