T-Mobile today took the wraps off of the HTC Amaze 4G – the phone formerly known as Ruby – at Mobilize in San Francisco. An Android 2.3.4 device powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, Amaze 4G is compatible with T-Mo’s HSPA+ 42 high-speed network. The phone features a 4.3″ qHD (960 x 540) super LCD display, 8MP camera with dual flash and full 1080p HD video capture, and HTC’s Sense user experience.

Amaze 4G “is expected” to retail for a whopping $259.99 after $50 mail in rebate with a two year contract, and be available for pre-sale on October 10 and in retail outlets starting Oct 12th.
