T-Mobile has finally started rolling out Samsung’s latest Marshmallow update for the Galaxy Note 4, almost three months after it made its initial debut. The release, which weighs in at 1.5GB, brings a whole host of new features and improvements.

Like any other Marshmallow upgrade, this one for the Galaxy Note 4 adds features like Doze for better battery life, Google Now on Tap for instant access to useful information, and Android’s more user friendly app permissions system.

The release also includes a whole bunch of TouchWiz improvements that should provide you with a snappier and more stable device, plus an advanced power saving mode and the ability to customize vibration patterns.

Finally, Samsung has removed some pre-installed apps that some users will never need, including Instagram and WhatsApp.

When this update is ready to download on your T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4, you should get a notification to let you know. However, you can search for it manually from within the Software Update section inside the Settings app.
