D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die is currently a really offbeat mystery and science fiction game that’s exclusive to the Xbox One. It makes use of the Kinect, though controller play is supported, and it comes from the mind of Hidetaka Suehiro, better known as SWERY.

SWERY has a few strange and beloved games to his credit, the most popular of which is Deadly Premonition.

D4 isn’t quite as bonkers as that game, but it’s still nuts enough to appeal to SWERY’s fans. Once an Xbox One exclusive, Dark Dreams Don’t Die is now making the jump to PC.

SWERY revealed the news on Twitter when he linked to an article in Famitsu regarding a PC version of the game. That link was in Japanese, and when one reader asked SWERY to clarify in English, he did. He even threw in a #ThanksObama for good measure.

I imagine you’ll be able to use a PC compatible Kinect 2.0 sensor to play, though I assume SWERY will also port over controller support and possibly add keyboard and mouse controls as well.

If you’re a PC gamer who likes superbly offbeat titles, you might want to check D4 out when it htis the PC.
