Microsoft’s brand new Surface Pro 3 tablet with an Intel Core i5 processor is now available in the United States and Canada. Anyone who pre-ordered the device should be receiving them soon, Microsoft said on Friday. Microsoft also confirmed for the first time that the more affordable Core i3 Surface Pro 3, and the more powerful Core i7 Surface Pro 3, will be available starting on Aug. 1 in stores and online in both Canada and the United States.

Additionally, the Surface Pro 3 will be available around the globe in 26 new markets by the end of August. The new markets include: Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Kingdom. Finally, Microsoft confirmed that the Surface Pro 3 docking station will be available on Aug. 15 in the U.S. and Canada, but that interested parties can pre-order the accessory starting today.
