With its Japanese release date approaching, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has a demo up on the eShop in Japan. That demo has been downloaded by NintenDaan, and he's recorded four gameplay clips for the world's consideration.

Above we have the menu navigation for the game. Anyone who has played any efforts from Masahrio Sakurai should know that the developer has a famous skill for creating unique and dynamic menu systems, and the same seems to hold true with the new Smash titles.

Next we have a series of battles featuring the fighters available in the demo. NintenDaan keeps it to CPU vs CPU here, so don't expect anything too crazy.

Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS hits Japan on Sept. 13 (those lucky jerks!), and we'll see it abroad on Oct. 3. We still have no word on the exact release date on the Wii U version, though it is slated to drop this holiday.
