By “box,” I mean question mark box. Not, like, the actual game box for Super Mario Maker, but the things that you can set inside the question mark boxes when designing your levels.

Sure, as the Japanese clip points out, you’ll be able to toss mushrooms and 1-UPs into question mark boxes. That’s not what’s crazy about Super Mario Maker. You’ll also be able to throw in goombas, koopas, bloopers and wigglers. Not Bowser, though, don’t even try it.

My hype level for Super Mario Maker is much greater than I thought it would be back when the game was first announced. Sure, I was excited to play it then. Now? I genuinely think this title could be a huge boon for the gaming community.

I just want them to patch in direct upload to YouTube support. It only makes sense, Nintendo, and I don’t know why that wasn’t a planned feature from the start like it was for Mario Kart 8.

Super Mario Maker will launch for the Wii U on September 11, 2015. We’ll have more on this crazy game as it comes.
