Do you have plans this coming summer? Well, you can cancel them, because Netflix has other ideas.
To ring in the new year, the streaming service announced Stranger Things Season 3 will premiere on July 4, 2019. You can see the first poster for the upcoming season at the bottom of this post.
"One summer can change everything" the tagline reads.
The show's group of teens can be seen enjoying fireworks with a creature lurking in the foreground.
Netflix recently unveiled the new season will be eight episodes long. As we previously learned, the show's brand new Starcourt Mall will be a major fixture of the show, likely serving as a source of evil and portal for the Upside Down.
A summer premiere is a little unusual given the show's spooky themes, but considering the upcoming season is set during the summer, it makes sense.
