Today was certainly a hectic day in the world of technology to say the least. We've compiled a list of TechnoBuffalo's top headlines for today to help you make sense of it all.
1. An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away
We begin analyzing today's news by taking a good, obligatory look at what is going on in Cupertino. Apple pushed out an advertisement last week that is not biased towards a specific network, boasting the tagline "Two Are Better Than One". More rumors about the white version iPhone 4's release date surfaced and a patent filed by the tech monolith introduces an interesting concept – using a keyboard without a mouse.

2. YouTube Competing with uStream?
There is definitely room in the live streaming market for a large company to swoop in and offer a clean, intuitive way for viewers to watch live streams of their favorite personalities. Right now, that content provided is usually uStream, though YouTube's streaming service has moved out of Alpha and into Beta. Google has kept hush about specific details, but make no mistake – when this feature is rolled out on a large scale, YouTube will take over the streaming universe.
3. Fast Processors Are Ready To Hit Your Phone
NVIDIA's Tegra 2 3D chips are scheduled to hit the market this year. Clocking in at 1.2 GHz, this chip will target 3D capable mobile devices, an expanding market in the increasingly 3D world we live in.

6. Tablet Madness
To say that there are a great deal of tablets coming in 2011 is a bit of an understatement. 100 tablets were announced at CES, meaning that the market will be over-saturated with likely mediocre content. There are, however, some beacons of light. HP is set to announce their webOS tablet, rumored to be called the Topaz, and the specs for the device leaked out. There must have been something wrong with the plumbing at HTC as well, as details about their "Flyer" tablet were leaked today. Motorola's XOOM, a powerful Android-powered tablet, is set to come out February 17 according to initial reports. Are you going to pick one up?
