As promised a week or so ago, Blizzard has delivered the original StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War for free. The titles are available for both the PC and Mac platform, and they can be yours for absolutely nothing.
This all comes as a drum-up for this summer’s StarCraft Remastered. Pick them up for free, dig in, Zerg Rush everything, beat them and then play the game again this summer. It’s like the 90s all over again for me.
The game is free with the update to version 1.8. Here are the installation links and the patch notes from Blizzard. They’ve gone and made it a little more modern.
