Want to know more about Star Wars: The Last Jedi? So do we, which is why we'll be tuning in to a panel for the film on Friday, April 14.

Disney and Lucasfilm haven't said what to expect during the panel, but many are anticipating the first footage from the upcoming film.

Here's the official description for the event, which will feature a number of "special gusts:"

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson will appear on stage. There will be plenty of surprises and special guests on the panel to keep the excitement brewing and speculation spinning throughout the rest of the weekend.

Information about the upcoming movie has been difficult to come by; the movie's title was only just revealed at the end of January. Beyond the return of Rey, Finn, and Poe, we're expecting Luke Skywalker to play a significant role in the film, and hopefully find out more information about why he went into hiding.

Disney is approaching The Last Jedi a little differently than it did Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We got our first glimpse of The Force Awakens about a year ahead of that film's December 2015 debut. We have yet to see anything from The Last Jedi, which is why Friday's panel is so anticipated.

The panel is set to kick off at 11 a.m. EST, and you can watch it all unfold right here.
