Darth Vader is on his way to give Star Wars Rebels some trouble in season 2.

The Dark Lord of the Sith made his presence known in season 1 of the new animated Star Wars Rebels series, but it appears he will play a bigger hand in season 2. The trailer for the new series debuted on Saturday at the Star Wars Celebration in California during a panel dedicated to the series.

Also of note in the trailer beyond the return of everyone’s favorite dark Jedi is ahsoka tano of The Clone Wars playing a larger role in season 2 after appearing at the end of season 1. Joining her from the previous animated series is also Captain Rex of the Clone army who appears to have ignored Order 66 which instructed the clones to kill the Jedi.

If you haven’t jumped on board with Star Wars Rebels as of yet, the series takes place about 10 years after the events in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, which places it about 10 years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

No word as of yet as to when season 2 of Star Wars Rebels will premiere on Disney XD, but we have to imagine it will be fairly soon.
