Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson said during an investor call this week that Battlefield developer DICE's take on the fan favorite Star Wars franchise will appear at E3 this year.

EA announced the title last year alongside the new consoles with a very brief teaser that depicted one of the best-looking renderings of the Battle of Hoth yet, and has been silent on the matter ever since.

In addition to Battlefront, Wilson said EA expects to reveal more about other new Star Wars projects currently in development. With the drama surrounding Battlefield 4's botched launch finally dying down, this year's E3 is a good time for the company to shift the focus to other franchises that have a bit more fan love associated with them.
