Still don’t believe me that Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is the real deal and a bag of potato chips? Well, let the game do the talking for itself! During the first  “Star Ocean Program #01” live stream even, Square Enix mustered a huge offering of footage, showing off a solid 46 minutes of gameplay. That should be enough to give everyone a good idea of where this game is coming from.

Not that it is hard to see, though. Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is aiming for that sweet spot between something new and something from the classic days of JRPGs. I think it hits it, but you can watch the footage and decide for yourself.

Square Enix’s captured gameplay details Star Ocean 5’s record setting battles, exploration through its big cities, and navigation through its menus and the RPG mechanics. You’ll need to understand Japanese to fully get the explanations, but it’s not that deep of a game. The images alone should be enough to get a solid idea of what it has to offer.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will be released for the PlayStation 4 in 2016. North America will not be getting the PlayStation 3 version.
