Bravely Default is being released in the U.K. and the rest of Europe today, and here is the new launch trailer to prove it. The retooling of the hit JRPG has been eagerly awaited by long time Square fans looking to regain the feeling of jumping into a long-overdue old fashioned adventure. From what I hear, this game does not let down.
Not even a day out of the gate and Square Enix has also announced through Shonen Jump Magazine, translated by Siliconera, that a full blown sequel is also in the works from the same team. Bravely Second will be the title of this sequel, however that is also the name of a battle mode in the retooled version of the first game, Bravely Default: For the Sequel.
Square Enix better get the numbering on this series under wraps before it finds itself explaining the series a decade from now. Sound familiar, Final Fantasy fans?
All this exciting news surrounding the game, you'd have to think we are getting something in America, yeah? Well, not really. No breaking news regarding the game. Just another two more months of waiting. Thanks a lot, Nintendo! It gives me time to finish Shin Megami Tensei IV at least.
Bravely Default will hit North American shores on February 7th exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
