Sprint has issued a new update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The release fixes and number of bugs to improve stability, and includes the Android security patch for June. Sadly, it does not include July’s update, which has rolled out to Samsung’s latest devices on other networks.

Both updates weigh in around 270MB, according to AndroidHeadlines, and they come with version number G950USQU1AQFJ on the Galaxy S8, and G955USQU1AQFJ on the Galaxy S8+. They’re not major releases, but they do make important fixes to a number of bugs that are affecting some key features.

Alongside fixes for the Find My Mobile service, Samsung has also addressed problems with LTE roaming and SMS functionality. Not everyone will have experienced issues with these features, but if you have, you should find that they’re now fixed. Samsung has also included June’s security patch, but Sprint is obviously behind with July’s.

You should receive a notification when this update is ready to download to your Galaxy S8 handset, but if you want to search for it manually, you can do so within Settings, About phone, then System updates.
