Sprint on Thursday announced its first 4G LTE smartphone capable of roaming on global GSM networks, the Motorola PHOTON Q. The device sports a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 4.3-inch ColorBoost display with a 960 x 540-pixel resolution, 8GB of storage, an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording HD video, a front-facing HD camera for video chat and 1GB of RAM. Sprint did not mention when the device will be available, or how much it will cost, but said it will reveal those details in the next few weeks.
