iPhone 6 vs iPhone 5s-1

Sprint on Wednesday evening announced that it is officially adding Wi-Fi calling support to the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s starting Wednesday. The added support brings Sprint’s family of Wi-Fi calling capable smartphones up to 25.

Sprint said customers should start to notice the software update on their iPhones “over the next week or so,” and that, after applied, Wi-Fi calling will be enabled automatically. “This is as easy to use as Bluetooth,” Sprint explained, noting that any calls placed over Wi-Fi will not count against voice minutes or data. (Does anyone actually have limited voice minutes anymore?)

T-Mobile also offers voice calling in the U.S., and it also works with the iPhones. It’s not an option for subscribers on AT&T or Verizon, however.
