Sprint and T-Mobile both had Super Bowl commercials last night and, apparently, T-Mobile CEO John Legere didn't like the message Sprint's told. On Twitter, Legere sent out a Tweet that stated: "Half assed commercial, half-assed data speeds. #typical." For one of the first times that we've ever seen, Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure actually responded to Legere.

Claure sent a Tweet back with an image that stated: "Never sacrifice your class to get even with someone who has none. Take the high road." Ouch, Claure just said John Legere has no class. It's a rather surprising reaction since AT&T, Sprint and Verizon have largely ignored Legere's constant barrage of Tweets, though a couple of those carriers have indeed changed plans to better compete with T-Mobile's unsustainable business model.

Legere, of course, responded to Claure. "Oh look! You learned how to use the "respond" button. I thought you only knew how to use the retweet button." Claure kept quiet after that one. Remember: all of this carrier in-fighting is good for us consumers, particularly as each wireless provider continues to fight to gain new customers. Keep at it, lads!
