Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Debuts, But We Can't See It Yet

Marvel had a very big week last week concerning trailers. It debuted the second trailer for Captain Marvel and the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Endgame, which broke all kinds of viewing records. The only MCU movie missing out on the action was Spider-Man: Far From Home, but it turns its first trailer also made a very secretive appearance.

The trailer was shown at the CCXP in Brazil where stars Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal were partaking in a panel. Some of the attendees who got to see the trailer went on Twitter to reveal what they saw.

According to the description, the trailer shows off Peter Parker taking a trip to Europe with his school friends where Nick Fury recruits him to defeat a giant villain made of stone and water. Somewhere along the way, Aunt May and Happy Hogan begin an affair. But it’s not just them who form a romantic connection, Peter and MJ will also become romantically involved.

The trailer begins with Peter Parker at a school event, shows the journey of his vacation and a big battle with Mysterio. #CCXP18 #SpiderManFarFromHome

Spider Man is famous and going to Europe with friends on a tour, and prefers to leave his classic uniform in New York. Arriving in Venice he is approached by Nick Fury and recruited for a mission to defeat a giant villain made of stone and water. #1 #SpiderManFarFromeHome

The recap also mentions Peter ditching his old suit for the new stealth one we’ve seen in multiple pictures.

Everything that’s mentioned seems to line-up with our expectations of the new Spider-Man movie. It’ll be a crowd pleaser that will also serve as a soft reboot for the MCU after Avengers: Endgame.

No word yet on when we’ll see the trailer Spider-Man: Far From Home. Rumors suggest Sony may release it this weekend when Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opens in theaters, but that remains to be seen.
