Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to be the follow-up to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and will continue to focus on Peter Parker’s time away from the Avengers. The movie is one of three movies Marvel is releasing in 2019, but it is also the one we know the least about. There has been no trailer or official set photos that give us a look at Spidey’s latest adventure.

That, however, did not stop us from getting a first look at one of the movie’s marquee characters thanks to leaked promo art posted on Twitter. The promotional material shows off Jake Gyllenhaal as “the mysterious Mysterio,” who is being brought to life on the big screen for the first time.

The art is featured in an upcoming edition of Empire Magazine and comes with a brief description of the character. For one, Mysterio may not end up being a villain at all. Early chatter from the first trailer shown to fans earlier this month revealed that Mysterio was going to work alongside Spider-Man to defeat the Elementals, a set of new villains that will be introduced to the MCU.

Now, the Empire Magazine spread seemingly expands upon this report by referencing a set photo that depicts Mysterio working with Spider-Man. Aside from that intriguing revelation, we don’t get much else. We still haven’t seen Gyllenhaal wear the iconic fish bowl Mysterio is known for.

Reports have abounded about when the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer will drop. For now this leaked promo art will have to suffice.
