Last week we got our first look at Spidey’s stealthy red and black suit from Spider-Man: Far From Home. Now, has shared even more pictures of the suit to celebrate the end of production on the film.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is the sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming as it continues to explore Peter Parker’s story through a new perspective. Probably the most exciting element of the movie is its connection to the MCU and from that the decision to connect Peter Parker with Tony Stark and his awesome tech. A welcome result of the relationship is getting to see Spider-Man wear crazy new suits.
In Far From Home, Spidey will wear a new red and black suit that is very similar to the one he wore in Homecoming but adds darker tone to the off-setting red color. It looks pretty great and the new photos Tom Holland posted on Instagram really show off how it looks in the daylight.
The first picture features him casually walking onto the set; the second is of him in his full Spidey suit swinging off a pole and the third picture sees him standing next to MJ (Zendaya) with the caption revealing the movie has wrapped up production.
Aside from getting another look at the new suit, it’s hard to ignore MJ’s prominence in the movie. At the end of Homecoming, it is revealed that Michelle is really called MJ setting up the storyline to explore Peter Parker’s love affair with the classic character. It’s unclear how in depth Far From Home will explore that storyline, but if the photos are any indication, MJ will be around Peter Parker a lot.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will swing into theaters July 5, 2019.
