Sony wowed us with its Xperia Z and ZL at CES earlier this year, but interest soon faded as the company suddenly fell quiet on when to expect either handset. While information still isn't 100 percent clear, it looks as though the ZL will arrive before the month is up, though it'll only be available in the U.S. unlocked. Get ready T-Mobile and AT&T customers.

There's still a Coming Soon tag attached to the listing on Sony's site, so we're going off what Xperia Blog is saying about the device's arrival. No price is listed, but I'd expect to pay a pretty penny since it'll come without contract. And hey, you get a choice between white, black and red—that red looks particularly sharp.

The device itself sports a 5-inch full HD display, a 13-megapixel camera, NFC, 2GB of RAM, LTE support and a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It's without a doubt one of the more attractive handsets we've seen and, who knows, maybe we'll be lucky enough to snatch one up when it's officially launches.
