We’re expecting Sony to announce at least a few new gadgets next week at IFA 2014, and today the company released a promo video essentially confirming its plans to unveil at least three new devices at the annual Berlin tech show. The short teaser for Sony’s September 3 event shows the outline of three new products that we can only assume are the rumored Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.

Sony still hasn’t confirmed any of these devices are actually in the works, but the latest rumors all point to a new flagship phone along with a smaller variant and a corresponding mid-sized tablet. Thanks to countless leaked photos and documents we have a pretty good sense of what to expect from all three products, though it’s still possible the company could surprise us.

The Xperia Z3 is expected to be Sony’s next big smartphone, though it may not be much of an improvement compared to the Z2 released earlier this year. The new flagship phone will allegedly come equipped with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a 20.7-megapixel camera, a beefed up Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a slightly thinner build. Meanwhile the Xperia Z3 Compact is expected to offer similar hardware in a smaller frame, though it should still boast the same 20.7-megapixel rear shooter. Finally, Sony’s new tablet will probably offer an 8-inch display, though we’re still not sure what the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact will pack under the hood.

Of course it’s still too soon to know anything for sure, and, like we said, Sony could still have a few tricks up its sleeve. We’ll be covering the company’s big announcement live from IFA next week so stay tuned for all the latest news as it hits, and in the meantime you can check out some of the latest leaked Xperia photos in the slideshow below.
