  • Sony Xperia 1 preorders go live in the U.S. on June 28.
  • The device features a 6.57-inch 4K OLED HDR display.
  • Preorders come with a free pair of WH1000XM3 noise cancelling headphones.

Originally announced at Mobile World Congress, the Xperia 1 will be available to preorder on June 28 for $950.

Consumers who preorder the device will get a free pair of WH1000XM3 noise cancelling headphones, a value of $350.

The Xperia 1 boasts a 6.57-inch 4K OLED HDR display and an unconventional 21:9 aspect ratio, making the device appear taller than it actually is. The point, though, is to provide users with a more cinematic viewing experience on the go.

The other standout feature in the Xperia 1 is Eye AF. The feature is designed to make taking pictures of people much easier. You'll have peace of mind knowing the Xperia 1's Eye AF is always tracking the subject in front of you.

In addition to the impressive display, the Xperia 1 comes equipped with a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3300mAh battery. The device also features a triple-camera system capable of shooting 10 frames per second.

The Xperia 1 will officially launch on July 12 in the U.S. and be available at Best Buy, Amazon, B&H Photo, Focus Camera, Beach Camera, and other participating retailers.
