Sony has another tablet up it sleeves, and now the alleged specs for the device have leaked to the 'net. The Xperia Tablet Z will launch with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz in addition to 32GB of storage, an 8-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE support and a large 6,000mAh battery. Better yet, the 10.1-inch tablet will apparently feature NFC support, which can hopefully be used to easily transfer files between other NFC-enabled devices, such as the freshly announced Xperia Z smartphone.

The Xperia Tablet S didn't exactly make a splash when it launched, but the specs for the Tablet Z seem more on a par with today's high-end tablets. Let's just hope it lands in consumer's hands soon enough to compete. We expect to hear more during Mobile World Congress in February, which we'll be attending and reporting from live.
