Sony hasn’t announced its next flagship, currently code named i1 Honami, but the device recently cruised through the U.S. Federal Communication Commission’s certification program. The phone was even listed with the “Honami” code name and was pictured, though all we can see is that it’s super rectangular like the Xperia Z.

According to TechKiddy, which spotted the document, the i1 Honami will sport a 5-inch display with a full HD resolution, waterproof and dust proof protection like the Xperia Z, a 20.7-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, a huge 3,000mAh battery, support for HSPA+ and LTE networks, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, NFC, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and more. The site also suggests the phone will launch in white, black and purple.

Sony’s Xperia Z is currently available for T-Mobile, so the Honami could make its debut there – though AT&T has also been a longstanding Sony partner. We imagine we’ll hear more about this device in the coming months.
