Sony Xperia Tablet S

If you own a Sony Xperia Tablet S, you need to check its serial number to see if it is one of the impacted units that has the water resistance problem.

It was announced late last week that some of the Sony Xperia Tablet S models released are having issues with the advertised water resistance. The issue is caused by gaps between the tablet's case and the screen that allow water to seep into the device's internal hardware.

Sony has now announced which serial numbers consumers need to look for to see if there's is one of the impacted units.
