SOMA looks terrifying. The new E3 2015 trailer that Frictional Games revealed this morning isn’t exactly that scary, but the previous gameplay previews and screenshots make the game look rather nuts.

Something is going horribly wrong in the underwater PATHOS-2 facility. People are dying, some crazy machines are stalking the halls and our hero might be going absolutely nuts. Whatever the case may be, we have some lengthy gameplay from Frictional Games to back all this up.

Right? Terrifying.

SOMA will launch for the PC and PlayStation 4 on Sept. 22, 2015. We’ll have more on the game as it comes, though I won’t be playing it. I’m too much of a chicken.
