Snapchat has a brand new executive in its ranks. The social app company has hired Tom Conrad, formerly of Pandora, to serve as their new Vice President of Product.

According to re/code, Conrad served as CTO when he left Pandora in 2014. He was in charge of product during his 10 years with the music streaming service.

Conrad will work directly beneath Snapchat’s CEO, Evan Spiegel. Spiegel, offers re/code, can now spend more time trying to position Snapchat for IPO. It was valuated at $16 billion, and the company needs to make that number valid.

Snapchat currently sees more than 100 million daily active users. It’ll be Conrad and Spiegel’s job to keep the app relevant while scaling with its increasing user base. That’s not an easy task.
