Pandora announced Monday that it will be the exclusive partner for the second season of the podcast Serial. The incredibly popular podcast achieved fame last year as the host Sarah Koenig walked listeners through the trial of Adnan Syed, currently in jail on murder charges.

"Serial Season One was a phenomenon and we at Pandora are among the many eagerly anticipating Season Two," said Brian McAndrews, CEO of Pandora. "We think our listeners will love Serial and look forward to helping build its growing number of fans."

McAndrew wouldn't say when the second season will kick off, and Pandora only mentioned that the release date is still "highly guarded."

When Season 2 does start, Pandora will stream the episode each Thursday morning at 6 a.m. Eastern, at the same time the episodes are available to download. Koenig hasn't said what the topic of season 2 will be, though rumors have suggested it may follow Bowe Bergdahl, a U.S. soldier who was captured after he left his post in Afghanistan.
