Today Samsung announced its latest gaming display, the CRG5 (C27RG). Mouthful name aside, the new display is a gamer's delight, offering everything they need for the very best gameplay.
The new CRG5 measures in at 27 inches and has a 1500R display curvature that combines with a blazing-fast 240Hz refresh rate that Samsung calls RapidCurve. This will eliminate screen lag and deliver a smooth, frame by frame experience.
The resolution of the display comes in at 1920 by 1080, paving the road for support for NVIDA's G-Sync technology. And with a 3000 to one contrast ratio, you'll get deeper blacks and brighter whites.
In terms of design, the display is very workmanship. Aside from the minimal bezel contributing to the edge-to-edge panel that makes the display look modern, it is not going for attention. It goes for a great experience, and on that aspect, it definitely delivers with a sturdy build, ergonomic finish and customizable settings.
