Earlier today we got a close-up look at the Galaxy Alpha, and now Samsung’s rumored metal smartphone has popped up in an online listing as well. British retailer Mobilefun published the webpage in question earlier today, revealing alleged specs and price for the device, though the Galaxy Alpha listing has already been scrubbed from the Internet.

Spotted by The Inquirer, the Galaxy Apha pre-order page offered the metal handset unlocked for £549 (roughly $925). Mobilefun also claimed the device will offer a 4.7-inch 720p display, an octa-core Exynos 5 processor and run Android 4.4.2. These specs line up perfectly with previous reports, though it’s possible the site is simply basing its listing on recent leaks. Then again, the fact that the webpage has already been removed has us thinking it could be real.

Either way, we’re expecting the Galaxy Alpha to launch in the very near future, so it shouldn’t be much longer before Samsung’s metal phone gets an official unveiling. The Galaxy Alpha looks set to compete directly with Apple’s rumored 4.7-inch iPhone 6, though hopefully Samsung won’t charge quite as much as Mobilefun claims for the upcoming smartphone.
