Samsung pretty much has the smartwatch market covered. In the past 12 months, the company has launched (or announced) the Galaxy Gear, Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, Gear Fit, Gear Live and now the Gear S, which acts as its own standalone device. Oh, and it has a curved display, which Samsung is particularly proud of.

We already went hands-on with the Gear S in a more private setting, so you can get our thoughts there. In the video above it’s more of a smash and grab job, quick and dirty. Our first impressions of the Gear S are certainly mixed, and we’re not so sure a 3G connection is what will take smartwatches mainstream.

Still, if you’re even remotely interested in what the Gear S has to offer, you can check out the device in action up above. There are a ton of smartwatch options on the market (or on the horizon), but the Gear S is nothing if not unique.
