The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 looks like it will be hitting this summer in both Wi-Fi and 3G versions, but you had better be a fan of white devices.

SamMobile did some sleuthing this weekend and discovered that Samsung is going to be changing up some of its lettering for model numbers in the coming months. After some further digging it appears that the new numbers are already appearing on at least one page in Samsung's Internet ecosystem, but they point to pages they have not yet been published.

With this information in hand, the site spoke with one of its sources and discovered that the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is part of the new numbering system and will be coming out beginning in June.

Galaxy Tab 3 (8.0) 16GB 3G (SM-T3100****** – White) Week 27 (Week of July 1)

Galaxy Tab 3 (8.0) 16GB Wi-Fi (SM-T3110****** – White) Week 24 (Week of June 10)

The Wi-Fi version will launch in week 24 which begins on June 10, and the 3G version will launch in week 27, which begins on July 1.

Rumors of the Galaxy Tab 3 has been circulating for some time now, but not a whole lot of information has leaked out on the next iteration of this line. What is known is that apparently it was originally going to be a 7-inch device, but that was later cancelled and replaced with the 8-inch version that is now showing up in various reports.

No word as of yet as to what the pricing on these new models will be, but apparently white is the only known color option at this time.
