Despite its design comprising of a thin metal frame sandwiched in between two slabs of glass, the Galaxy S8 Plus is actually a pretty durable smartphone. At least, that’s what a new drop test uploaded to the EverythingApplePro YouTube channel would lead you to believe.
In the 12-minute video, the Galaxy S8 Plus is pit against the iPhone 7 Plus — but the results aren’t quite what you’d expect. Even though it sports a stronger aluminum frame, the latter actually warps and winds up out of commission long before the former’s Infinity Display shatters.
