Samsung has yet to announce the Galaxy S4 Active, but at the rate at which leaks are spilling out we expect that to happen any day now.

Yesterday we saw a few photos of the device, which is similar to the Galaxy S4 but with a rugged exterior. Now we're being treated to a video that provides a glimpse at the hardware design of the phone. We can see that the bottom buttons have been tweaked but that it otherwise looks much like the Galaxy S4. That's not really common with rugged devices, which are typically much thicker and more cumbersome than their non-rugged counterparts.

The Galaxy S4 Active will apparently offer all of the features of the S4 but will sacrifice the 13-megapixel camera for an 8-megapixel shooter. MobileTechReview also said it learned the phone will launch with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor instead of a quad-core Snapdragon 600 chip. It will also likely be dust, shock and water resistant.

The latest rumors suggest that the Galaxy S4 Active will launch alongside the Galaxy S4 Zoom by the end of this month.
