Samsung Galaxy S III Photo

Samsung’s set to unveil its latest and greatest smartphone during its press conference in London on May 3rd. Whether or not the device will actually be called the Galaxy S III is still up for debate but, among plenty of other leaked images and renders, a video that allegedly shows the phone in its full beauty popped up on the Internet Friday. Engadget has the original, however, and the original poster has since removed the full embeddable clip.

Like Apple has done in the past to disguise next-generation iPhones, Samsung reportedly housed the Galaxy S III internals in a fake case, which means it’s possible you’re not looking at the final product.

The site that leaked the phone, Tinhte, says the Galaxy S III packs a 4.6-inch HD display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, an 8-megapixel camera, support for near-field communications, a large 2,050 battery, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Those specs are somewhat in-line with what we’ve heard before, although earlier reports have suggested it will feature a larger 4.65-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen with a 1080p resolution, a ceramic body, wireless charging and more.

We have just a few weeks to wait until Samsung makes the device official so enjoy the video for now and take it with a grain of salt if you don’t like what you see just yet.
