Samsung Galaxy S II

Three UK announced on Tuesday that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is now available to its subscribers using the Samsung Galaxy S II. The carrier specifically said via Twitter: "ICS update for Galaxy S II is available via Kies. You'll need to connect your S2 to a PC via USB cable with Kies software installed." Kies is Samsung's phone management software tool and, while we haven't had the best experience running it on a Mac, we assume users should be able to install the update from an OS X-powered computer, too.

Samsung made the update available to unlocked users on March 10th and the release from Three UK suggests that additional carriers are also preparing to issue the update. Still no word on when we can expect ICS from AT&T, T-Mobile or Sprint, though.
