The long-awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy Note has begun its rollout in South Korea following a brief touchdown in Europe earlier this month. The software can be downloaded now using Samsung's Kies desktop application for Mac and PC.

In addition to those core Ice Cream Sandwich features — such as the new user interface, Face Unlock, and Android Beam — the update deliver's Samsung's new Premium Suite of applications designed exclusively for the 5.3-inch "phablet" and S Pen. The Korean company shows off the new software in the video above.

On May 10, the ICS update hit the international GT-N7000 Galaxy Note for users in Germany, but that's about as far as it has gotten on its European tour so far — the rest of us are still waiting.
