Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 Review8

Samsung is allegedly prepping an 8-inch Galaxy Note, though the device is going to be part of the company's tablet lineup, and not an enormous smartphone. Yay? Nay? According to SamMobile, who received full-on specs of the slate, the Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled by the Korean company at Mobile World Congress in February.

This is the first time we've heard of such a device existing, so the final specs and information are still up for contention. On paper, the tablet itself doesn't sound particularly revolutionary—perhaps it'll land with an irresistible price point. Still, if it can match the aura and feel of the Galaxy Note or Note II, Samsung probably has a winner on its hands.

With CES light on any significant Samsung announcements, we had an inkling the company would use Mobile World Congress as a stage to reveal some big things. The Galaxy Note 8 is a good start. I wonder what else Samsung has up its sleeve?
